The Cottage Grove Public Library is located at 700 E. Gibbs Ave.. The Cottage Grove Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the city boundaries with services available to all others for a fee.

The library system holds over 44,000 materials including over 39,000 books, and 1000 compact discs, cassette tapes and books on cassette. Over 100 CD-ROMS are also now available for check-out.

In total, quite a few items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2006-2007! In addition to these items, several thousand people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s DSL connection, enjoy state-of-the-art Wi-fi service, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
